This past week I was up in the area and saw water temps of around 65-66 degrees. This was from Independence up through the north end of Van Hook. Fishing was mediocre for the most part. We had the start of a good morning on Saturday until the fish just shut off at noon and we finished around 2:30 a couple short of our limit.
A hammered silver spinner with a chartreuse Gulp crawler was our best performer, by a lot!
