This is what's great about cold water. Notice the fin color? The boy & I have kept several 8-12lb fish as we couldn't get things unraveled quick enough before the fins turned red. Our fish fries on New Years Eve were totally pike--bleed gills, get in ice...I've drank many a beer from bloody ice water and find it manly.

Sak giants......(on a fly again). It's like catching Red River catfish on a jig.....
