Cabin rental suggestions.

The wife, kids, and myself are thinking of a vacation in August and were thinking along the lines of a cabin rental in Minnesota or north east South Dakota. Would much appreciate suggestions on lakes and lodges that rent cabins. Don't need to be huge cabins but needs to be lake front. Lake must have fish. Preferably with a good populatio of walleye or bass.

I've stayed here many times with family and had a great time. The bass fishing is excellent and the cabins are right on the water. Nice swimming area too.

With the choices you gave, I'd go to NE SD. MN has 10,000 lakes, 5,000,000 fishermen, and 5,000 fish left.
Seriously, do your homework. If the resort has a website and fishing is important, look at the photos in their photo gallery. Maybe those good catches were 20 years ago, the clothing will tell. I don't bother with any resort that advertises their wonderful sunsets or proximity to casinos. That usually means the fishing isn't good enough to get you off the beach.
