Thinking of heading north next weekend to meet up with a friend from high school for a carp shoot, it’s a big 6 with 3 of each species allowed at weigh in ,commons and buffs is what we’ll be looking for , some of the water we’re not familiar with is our biggest problem so wondering if anyone has saw good size fish , we know Audubon the rest we’re really green on ,was over 25 years ago my brother and I fished new johns , any suggestions or info would be appreciated and thank you

I don’t have any help for you, but I wish you the best of luck, and hope to hear how it went.

Its been a few years since I've bowfished but I'd say audubon is your best bet because there are some massive buffalos in there. New johns & the canal lakes are good for numbers but the size will be a bit smaller than in audubon.
