Holy Fk, the landowner claimed they caused 7 million dollars in damages by corner crossing! GST would be proud of that nut job.

I tend to agree, GST would not be a fan of this judge based on his history of private property rights discussions.

Nonetheless, I love it!

This is the same douche who had sued a Trump affiliated "True The Vote" political organization for not being able to prove that Trump actually won the last election.

He gives Republicans a bad name, they should kick his ass out of any conservative/republican organization in which he has a membership.

I hope thousands of people show up to hunt "his" land.

Fred is obviously from the generation of "rules for thee but not for me".

My favorite passage in the judge's opinion:

Eshelman’s claims of lost property value caused by the judgment are misguided, Skavdahl wrote. Such a claim “is based on a fictitious right the Plaintiff never actually held under law,” the judge wrote.

There are a few renters of public land in ND that should take note of this.

So- if we're well behaved we can legally corner cross?

But if the rancher causes a stink- for the good of the many we don't cross at that corner?

Interesting

I'm not sure that's the message the judge intended. My interpretation is that the judge said, and I'll paraphrase here..."the jackwad landowner asked for a stay of the judges decision to allow corner crossing because he fears us public land hunters. Don't go out and give jackwad proof that he has reason to fear public land hunters or he'll have a better argument for asking the judge to issue a stay".

I will without hesitation corner cross anywhere in WY this year as long as i do not step foot on private to do it. I just so happen to have a WY goat tag in my pocket too!
