Orcus this isnt anything new where were you during the last administration when they were selling prime federal hunting land. If America is going to grow without using eminent domain on American citizens,.so land needs to be come from some where. No im not saying that I was using an example of why its easier for the feds to sell federal land then it is for developers to buy private.

The point here is that yes, currently federal land can be sold. By law the proceeds must be used to purchase additional lands. This legislation differs in that the funds go into the general funds and are not required to purchase additional lands resulting in a net loss of opportunities for outdoorsman and women.
