Orcus this isnt anything new where were you during the last administration when they were selling prime federal hunting land. If America is going to grow without using eminent domain on American citizens,.so land needs to be come from some where. Again you are barking up the wrong tree with this one I get it though anything the goat does pisses you off.

This is one example of how a community in north dakota is land locked from development of new housing locations, the land owners (farmers) dont want to give up one acre of farmland to better a community so that a new busnines can have workers to help run that new business. Even though that community has every right to use their constitutionally protected right of eminent domain to seize that land and pay that owner fair makert value to use it for a future development.

Marvin windows in Grafton is in the process of building their very own apartment complex so they can have housing for those who are having a hard time finding affordable, safe and local housing.

The sky is falling. This is no different than the last bunch of years and the con orgs all crying wolf. I used to really care at this point I’m indifferent because both sides don’t give a shit about the common man. Case in point Arizona pays Bha Randy newberg to come advertise and hunt for them.

Hold on a minute... Are you saying that developers should be able to seize farmland from farmers so their godforsaken housing developments can continue to spread like a virus?

not good news for the hunting and angling community....especially for those of us that like to hunt out of state. this in no way benefits the average outdoorsman. and before anyone calls me a lib, i voted for Trump. that doesn't mean i have to agree with everything being done under this administration.

Some of that checker board land should be sold or traded to open land locked public land. His last term we netted more open land .

Have signed up for several conservation NGO's news alert and notifications. When this came out BOOM, as if on cue they all are sending my inbox the same canned message.

No im not saying that I was using an example of why its easier for the feds to sell federal land then it is for developers to buy private.

The point here is that yes, currently federal land can be sold. By law the proceeds must be used to purchase additional lands. This legislation differs in that the funds go into the general funds and are not required to purchase additional lands resulting in a net loss of opportunities for outdoorsman and women.

One for bravo, you may have to paste the link in your browser.

https://www.americanprogress.org/ar...selling-out-americas-public-lands-and-waters/

The tax bill would now include the largest sellout of public lands by Congress in modern U.S. history.

293M+

Public land and water acreage that the tax bill would offer up for oil industry drilling in just its first rounds of mandated lease sales

Wait for it...........................

The Center for American Progress is funded by George Soros. Its first CEO was John Podesta or Hillary's campaign manager. Kurtr's old Senator POS Tom Daschle is on the board.

Closely associated with this abortion of a non-profit is another just popping up. Today:

Land Tawney is creating another non-profit. I wonder with whose money.
