What about copper bullets? Yes or no there? Been meaning to try Barnes but haven’t shot enough to reload lately.

I like Barnes. They definitely hold together better than lead.

Almost all my rifles now shoot Barnes TSX or TTSX. Accurate as hell, very even and controlled expansion. I have had very good luck with them over the years. I suppose I've been reloading them now for my 25-06 and 7mm Rem for about 20 years.

Unlike lead bullets, the Barnes bullets hold together very well. Right prior to making the switch, I shot a doe bedded down broadside to me at about 70-80 yds. For whatever reason I skinned her out starting at the neck and immediately noticed this weird blood trail that went just between the hide and meat all the way down her back When I finally got the hind quarters, I was surprised as heck when a lead fragment from my Winchester BST fell to the floor. It kind of shocked me that a fragment had traveled so far away from the point of impact.
