Seems like it'd be easier to call the landowners, or send them certified mail asking for the location of any eagle's nests. If further surveillance needs doing one would think that paying the landowner for some time to guide the researchers to the nesting sites and a little drone time would be a whole bunch cheaper and far less disturbing to any/all animals in the area than Helicopter flight/hours.

I'll stir the pot on this. The only reason they want reimbursement is because of the size of the business that was involved. I had buffalo get spooked and tore through their fences when a crop duster buzzed the pasture, when I called the sprayer and the police I was given the bs line that it's inevitable and unavoidable

After the wind towers go up they wont have to worry about calves. They will be aborted due to harmonics off the wind towers. Wind is no good, and I do hope the ranchers get paid for the loss of their calves.

If it is a land owner who could be potentially be part of a wind project they would likely not declare any nests on their property if they want turbines on there land to make some money. Wind farms are designed around known eagles nest with a large buffer.

Kind of reminds me of the scene in Roadhouse when Swaze is looking at the barn-room apartment and the rich guy flies his helicopter over to scare the horses.

Old man, "I swear he does that just to piss me awffff".

"i know they are heavily subsidized by the government"

Hows that go about glass houses again??

And property rights?? GTFO.

They are looking to stir the pot with property rights and getting $$ out of the deep pocket of the wind energy developer.

I don't think you understand the difference between subsidies farmers get versus the almost non-existent subsidies ranchers get.

I know the eagle or eagles out at the lake in sota land -- do not like drones --- drones = food. You see one you better have your hands on the turn off gps button and fly like a sob your you are screwed. They dive bomb too. I dont worry about mine as it is a chinese cheapy but my buddy has a an $$$$ one. So far so good -- you just need to learn how to come in hot.

And they all will get windmill cancer.

Feel free to explain it to us. I wish the government gave me that much non-existent money!:;:stirthepot

We should not even be allowing wind farms to be built here in this state. Protect the industries we have that provide shit piles of good paying jobs. Oil/coal. Why let another industry in that provides very little jobs and directly competes with the ones that provide shit piles of high paying jobs/careers. And especially one that is only existing due to tax payer subsidies.
