Well I have been skipping my fishing weekends and riding bike instead.
My intent was to fish on Saturday, but a good friend called and asked if I would ride to Minot with him for his uncle Ron's bike run. I instantly told him yes that sounds like fun. So for the 3rd time in a row the boat has sat, and the bike has taken precedence.
Not sure if I can handle not fishing, but I sure seem to blow it off when a bike ride is offered up.
At this rate, I might not have the boat in the lake until the 4th of July weekend.

Here is some pictures of the rally, in all I believe there was around 260 bikes registered.







600+ miles this weekend, and a ton of fun.

Hey Johnr if your having fun you didn't make a mistake. Often I think about fishing, but if I have the time shooting is more fun for me. I just can't find anything more fun than an 8 inch swinging target at 800 yards. It's sort of like telling your kids success isn't being rich, success is being happy. Well, it can include rich, but that isn't the measure of success.

It was a spur of the moment deal, he called me on Wed, and we ended up heading out on Friday evening, the run Saturday, and then home Sunday afternoon.

Was a blast, great bunch of guys in the group.

You could say the same thing about people going back and forth to the lake on the weekends. By the way, all chaps are assless, other wise there call them PANTS.

I cant speak for anyone but the group I was with, which includes 5 of us, and we sure did not ride drunk, I had 3 beers on the entire 7 hour run, drank plenty of Gatorade, and water.
Some young girls actually had a lemonade stand set up at one of the towns we stopped at, trying to raise money for summer camp. I would venture to guess she raised about $250 in that 30 minutes the group was in that town. She was asking $.25 a cup, and getting anywhere from $2 to $20 a cup from the guys buying.

I have gone to plenty of bars, and ordered a Pepsi, it is the choice of a new generation.
