Ice is all good until it starts wrecking things . You guys in the south seem to get your fair share of ice, wasn't that area clobbered with ice and wind and snapped many miles of power poles a couple years ago ? We are probably lucky to be colder up north , no rain but trees are thick with frost and has been snowing since the storm went through .

I still have a line down out in front of my house. Its the bottom line of two but I still have power, don't understand how that works. Still have a lot of ice covered tree branches hanging on the lines (old shelter belt across the road) hope the wind today don't knock me out. LB

After Christmas is when it really starts feeling like a long winter.
Headed to Mexico again in early Jan, should help break it up a tad

Yep we’re headed back to Gulf Shores and Nashville again but not until February this year. That’s a long damn time from now under current conditions

Sure it shaping up to be a long damn winter...........
I was thinking the same thing, and I am not looking forward to it. I can handle the cold, but I do not like all the snow. I guess we can look on the bright side and it will hopefully help improve our water systems in the spring.
