Lake Winnipeg open water?

I've got plenty of experience ice fishing up there but would like to try it with the boat. Has anybody done this? What area do people target and what is available for ramps? Having a hard time finding any info online.

I've been surprised at how little a person hears about that lake in the summer. Curious to see what kind of responses you get from people here.

We only fish it in fall out of Pinefalls run the river out to lake and pull cranks all over out there is blast. The waves get big and rolling too. Never really heard of spring bite to good in ND than so never bothered.
