Blackhorn is a great powder if your gun will shoot it(breech plug issues) but if it doesnt,loose T7 will give positive ignition,if you run a spit patch between shots loading remains fairly easy and groups pretty good.
I swear by Harvester crush rib sabots,they make loading easier than any other i have tried.I also use Hornady ftx bullets in those sabots, I feel the rubber tip doesnt deform as much with inconsistent ramrod pressure.Been using this combo for quite a few years,has been a very accurate combo.

I found out through shooting a lot of different combinations of powder and bullets, the best accuracy is a bullet/sabot as close to the bore size is most accurate
I shoot an old Knight .54 caliber with 100 grains of powder and 348 grain power belt bullets.
