I am grateful today for an officer from the NDHP for assisting my son when his Trailblazer broke down on I-94 in Fargo. Happened at 4 pm between Sheyenne and Veteran's, assuming motor threw a rod and the officer was right behind him when it happened. Stopped, took my son to get oil at TWO different gas stations because the first didn't have any, took him back to see if that was the problem, oil just ran out onto the concrete. Then took him to work because he was late for his 4th shift ever working there. The officer really didn't have to do any of it. I got the call from my son when he was already being driven to work by NDHP.

Some interactions with LEO for me have been more power flex on their part than needed to be. This restores faith that there are officers like who will go out of their way to help general citizens in need of help. Very appreciative for how today went down.

Anyone with a lead on a decent vehicle for an 18 year old heading to college this fall? :ROFLMAO:

I think most officers would be kind enough to help. Sounds like he did a little extra 👏

My boy scout troop leader was a MN patrolman. Heck of a good guy and after he got transferred to a different area of the state, the troop fell apart. Very sad but no one wanted to take on the task. :(

It's obvious your son didn't have brown skin and didn't mouth off as the officer was interrupted from obstructing traffic for amusement.
