Has anyone made a power box? I keep thinking they'd be a cool toy to have, but not entirely sure I NEED it.

If so, did you make it yourself, buy a kit, buy a prebuilt one?

Pros? Cons?

This and a 110v power inverter works for me. Next time I get to Fargo going to pick up another harbor freight corded electric concrete drill and use this set up since I only want to spend $ 40 on a drill.

for an ice auger . I used one before and it would dam near break my arms when I used it on a reamer and it grabbed so pretty sure it will drill a hole in the ice.

I think they're neat, but I don't run much for electronics. The LED light strips take hardly any power whatsoever, and my Marcum has it's own battery, as does the Aquavu. And I do whatever I can to keep my phone IN MY POCKET. So charging that on the ice isn't high on my priority list.

What I would like is a Lithium Sled for my flasher. I think that would pay for itself in short order, especially on long sleeper trips to URL, DL or LOW.

I made one with lights and a USB port. Honestly have only had it on the ice 1 or 2 times. I bought a luminoodle for light in my house and run it off of a small external battery pack

I built my own last year and I mounted my helix 7 on it. I have a few switches on it for lights, led for glow jigs, and the charging station. I like the lights if I am walking out. Plus if its nice and no house set up I can see my holes has charging stations just incase phone dies, mine hates the cold weather. I have three batteries in mine so it is a little heavy. There is always someone one who wants more but my works good for what I need it. I think mine cost me about $120 just because of the batteries.

I bought the same one you have from Clancy’s. Only 9lb and a small footprint. Sure you can make them if you have the time, but.im just too busy.

I've wanted to make one. Moved to fargo and just signed on a house so i've been making my list. Told the wife and she asked how close our new house is to the fire department?!?!

Hopefully have one operable by 1st of the year. Looking to charge cell phone, provide light and operate lights in the otter.
