We are holding our annual Fall Pheasant Shoot at McCollum's Pheasant Preserve near Bejou MN on September 13th. If you are interested or have questions please feel free to PM me. There will be probably 300 birds released, Male Adults (non military) are $400, Youth and Women are $250 and Active Military or Veterans are $250. Max is 40 people. I have never had anyone say they did not have fun on this and normally you come home with 6-8 birds (they clean and bag them) but this past spring everyone had 10 or 12 per person (I was turkey hunting). There are no additional licenses needed if you are not a Minnesota resident

That looks fun if I wasn’t getting ready and training for the grand I would offer the services of my dog to pick the birds up
They have their regulars that help so I would put you in touch with the owners to hash that out because that's not my call. In the morning they only have the guides that come to work on events use their dogs because they are used to what is going on in the European Style for safety, afternoon for the more traditional walking is where guests can bring their dogs out. I am sure your dog would do great.
After doing this the last hand full of years I look forward to it.
1. He who shoots most shells has the most fun (that's how I justify my misses at least)
2. Fun to see any returning guests and meet new people with common interests.
3. Good little startup for my dogs before season

Ya the tower shoot would interest me more as that fits in to what our training is but i have had him pheasant hunting a few times as it is so contradictory to the control we work on all year. Blocking and picking birds up that sail a couple hundred yards away is really our jam. But going to be in Nashville shortly after that so i better work on keeping him sharp for the grand.
