I would have to tell them to please cook them for a few more minutes, they look slimy. I like my eggs to be cooked tell they are fluffy then throw some ghost or habenero cheese and a little salsa. 😋

IMHO/E: The French version looks undercooked but not. I've done it and am the most squeamish/picky eater on the planet. When I'm in a diner I order "over medium". The French version tastes like yolk.

I suppose the dry toast acts like a sponge to soak up some of the slimynesss, also clearly those farm eggs have a much thicker yoke making them look more slimy then your ordinary caged eggs.

Overcooked eggs are like overcooked steak...I HATE crumbly, rubbery, overcooked scrambled eggs!! (they're my wife's specialty)

"No it's ok honey, I can make the eggs". "REALLY, don't worry about it, I got it." "For real, it's no problem at all."

First of all you just have to have some cheese in the eggs. I prefer mushrooms and onions green peppers and and some ham or cold cuts, but then I guess that's an omlet. Oh and always in cast iron!

Fun fact(s): The chef's hat is called a toque and has 100 pleats representing the ways to cook eggs.

Interesting because that is exactly what I call my stocking cap being as we are so close to the Canucks.
Is toque Canadian slang?

A toque is just Canadian slang for a beanie, usually with a pom-pom on top. If you're heading to Canada, you'll want to make sure you pack a toque. Or, better yet, buy one there.

In the Hills it's called a "toboggan". According to Bob and Doug the pronunciation is "tuke". According to french chefs it's "toke". I ASSumed "beanie" had military origins. I find it "amusing" how Canucks and other demoralized/emasculated socialists use a hard "T" for fillet and we've embraced "fill-lay". Perhaps it goes back to the American Revolution.

That is all:

3 eggs in a bowl, add about a tab of water, mix well and cook. Will be nice and fluffy like I like them or what I call pan scramble where you just put 3 eggs in a pan and stir over med heat until they are done the way you like them. Will have a difference between the white and the yoke. LB

gordon's eggs are awesome....

He forgot the beans. Brit breakfast has tomatoes, mushrooms, and beans.

Google "British Breakfast" images. It's hilarious.

I don't remember where i picked it up, but my favorite way to have scrambled eggs is to drop them in a pan of butter and half way fry them. Once the whites start to set up I will turn the heat off and lightly scramble them. Done.... Fried egg whites, tossed in a yolk sauce.
