DEER AND GEESE ARE STARTING TO SHOW UP. Garden tiller is starting to whine in garage. Cant tell what color my trucks are. Garden seeds are here from the seed store. Going to need a pick ax to plant potatoes on Friday. Pasture is more brown than white. More piles of lab poop than you can count. Sky is full of geese as I type. First time in three years that snows and blues are here.. Robin is hopping around in back yard. Water puddles everywhere. Pocket gophers are digging on south side of road ditches. Really want to drag boat out of shop but will suffer for another month.

Robins showed up here last weekend. Saw first few honkers as well. We just gotta make it through this last (hopefully) cold snap. Saw that Friday night's low is -5 for up here. The weather gods must not be pleased. Prepare another goat!

Saw my first Robin yesterday and a pair of loud honking honkers have been flying around for a week trying to ditch a loner , That usually ends up in a big fight. Only one more snowstorm for some of us , some of you will be getting two or three. ;)

I better not beak off too loud , I have my snow moving tractor in about 100 pieces

Looks like the weather taking a dive for the Easter weekend, man, what did we do to deserve that? Won't be any outside activities for the kiddies on Easter if its gonna be cold. sister likes to put out colored plastic eggs with candies in them around her yard for kids to find on Easter Sunday. Each kid has a designated color to find.

Saw 3 Meadow Larks sitting on the side of the highway day before yesterday. They did not look happy.

While I was ice fishing last Sunday...which involved drilling through 30 plus inches of ice, I was continually distracted by all the geese flying low to the ice and landing on the open water around the bridge. C'mon Mother Nature...let's go!

Spring here in the SFO Bay Area. 80° yesterday on the drive home and probably the same here today.

Just need the Sharks to win out!

Had morning wood yesterday. Seems my hibernation has come to an agressive end
