Guys & Gals,

Looking to put a plow on the ATV since it doesn't get used enough and now with a recent move I can push the snow kind of where ever I need. Not going to be pushing lots of area but think this might be a better option than the walk behind snow blower. What are some good ones?

Yes, we're talking about snow. Get your heads right.

Thanks,

Have you got ample room to push snow? Need to push it back a log ways the first time or your screwed. Was gonna do a plow ( plenty of room ) put choose 44" blower for lawn tractor instead. Get that shit the hell out of the way

I have a 84 inch on my 6x6. And it really pushes snow. I put 400 lbs in the box and low gear and away I go. The 4 wheelers are to light. When pushing gets tough they just slide sideways. You may want to put chains on the 4 wheeler.

I've been looking at these but was thinking of going composite like the Koplin for rust concerns.......
Don't think rust is much of an issue. I've had my Moose County Plow going on 12 years now, and my driveway is mostly gravel and no rust to speak of.

moose plow on my atv worked great. When you have tracks i believe u will have to get an extender to get the plow further out to clear the tracks. or at least i had to when i put the track on the general and use the plow.

agree with everyone on making sure you move first snow far enough away to not give you issues down the road. i dont worry about it now, just use the plow to wind row the snow and then use the blower on the bobcat to send it to the neighbors yard.

Figured I'd need to do the extension. Have plenty of room to push the snow and live in a cul de sac where they stack the snow in the middle of the street in front of the house then haul it away so convenient with that aspect.

I had that some style blade on my 6x6. And it bent just past the mounts from hitting snow to hard.
Weird. The frame of the plow mounts to the middle of the frame on the 4wheeler about 12 inches behind the front CV axles. I've moved a metric shit ton of snow with this thing since I've had it and nothing has bent or failed. I don't wait for the snow to get hard either.
