It’ll be curious to see what happens to Berkshire now that ole Warren Buffet is taking a back seat. Or if he passes. He’s getting up there in yearsI am surprised berkshire isnt one of them..
I think Abel has been running the show for a while now. Warren has just been the face of it. I am guessing here but if he passes there will be a drop and wuthin a month a return to normal. It’ll be curious to see what happens to Berkshire now that ole Warren Buffet is taking a back seat. How would it drop if he passed? They are sitting on record amounts of cash and have been pulling it out of the market for a few years now…. I’d think him passing may be bullish as it could signal a change in their strategy and re-entering the market with all that sidelined cash…..I think Abel has been running the show for a while now. Because he is the leader and face of Bershire. Just like it dropped when he announced he is stepping back but still hanging around. It dropped and then came back. When he is completely gone i believe it will do the same thing. How would it drop if he passed? Ok I see what you mean. I thought you meant a big drop…. The market didnt really flinch too much at his stepping down announcement. Him dying would likely do less…. I mean the guys in his 90s….. that has to be factored in to the markets at this point…..Bec

Oh yeah nothing big..just a slight drop amd it would come back. Berkshire is a machine and unless complete morons are running the show it will continue with out Buffet.Ok I see what you mean. Imo it’s not really even the markets reacting anymore. It’s the market makers using every stupid little excuse to drop the market….. you get rid of dark pool abuse or dark pools in general and you wouldnt see drops on “ trump farts the wrong way” and a 5% market wide “panic” dump. People arent selling way down here so it’s comical to me to watch them grasp as straws for every little news blurp and fake a sell offOh yeah nothing big..just a slight drop amd it would come back. I wish day trading was gone...if people had to hold for a certain time period you would see alot less volatility...Imo it’s not really even the markets reacting anymore. Now now KDM...you do realize that is only 2 examples out of thousands of companies? True, they were terrible....but..really??? If a person does their homework and not toss their money out here or there, chances are they will do better than hiding their money in a mattress or putting their long-term money in a savings or CD.Enron and Worldcom. Look them up. Both stocks LIED on their paperwork. Both screwed all their investors. NOBODY went to jail. FUCK your stock market. I'll trust myself to do what's good for me.

Jeffrey Skilling, the former CEO of Enron, was jailed after being convicted of fraud and conspiracy related to the company's collapse. He was initially sentenced to 24 years in prison, but later reduced to 14 years. Skilling was released from federal custody after serving more than 12 years.I agree with KDM..not only did they not go to jail no CEO or executive has ever been held liable in the deaths of there workers or anyone they have killed..AKA boeing....CEO and excutives no matter how shitty all have get out of jail free cards just like the politicians...

I had a pretty sizable position in a company called Abraxes petroleum. On paper the company was worth $4 a share roughly. The share price at the time was around $1.50 along comes a hedge fund out of Texas that buys a shit ton of shares which puts them on the board of directors. Board of directors votes to reserve split the stock and take the company private and off the open market. Somehow….. and I’m still trying to figure out how this is even legal they were able to force a buy out of any remaining open market shares for .50 even tho book value was over $4. I was livid. I called my broker and demanded I do NOT wish to sell my shares and am demanding they do not sell them on my behalf. They said there isn’t anything they can do. I called the company that was taking it private and they wouldn’t answer or return calls. I even notified them in writing. They literally stole shareholders money…… I can’t wrap my head around how no one went to jail.Enron and Worldcom. Look them up. Both stocks LIED on their paperwork. Both screwed all their investors.
