that's why old timers always carried a pocket knife... you can use it to cut your underwear off and cut them into strips in a pinch...

That's why I were long socks when out hunting cause when nature calls the top of the socks work great

I've never used my underwear but had many shirts go to sleeveless shirts in that situation

Got about 3 miles from the truck deer hunting one year and had to sacrifice a shirt sleeve...got home took my coat off and the wife said "what the hell happened to your shirt?"...

Had you taken hunter safety from me you would have learned in the lesson on "Things to carry while hunting" you would have learned to "CARRY TP". One of the most necessary survival items in your pack.

TP is not just for hunting, when traveling internationally it comes in handy to carry some as well. i donated a bandanna while overseas.

First thing I check to make sure I have before going afield on a long deer trek is TP, paper towels, and baby wipes.

Oddly enough, it's also the last thing I check to make sure I have with me.
