Ahhhh pretty sure the 6.2 was just a bored 5.3.........the 6.0 was a cast iron block..didn't think the 6.2 was. The 6.2 has iron sleeves..if that's what your referring to?.
You are correct,6lit and now 6.6lit stump puller,cast iron block.
Back in 2022 GM had limited availability of 6.2,talk was phasing it out,same with 6.6lit,hopefully we'll move forward with our fossil fuel powertrains.
I remember mid 80's till early 1990's
Gm put the kibosh on big block v8's,305 was top dog for a few years,finally later in 1990's reintroduced 350,454 w/ fuel injection ( throttle body) kinda looked like a hybrid 4 barrel carb to me with more hp and torq, if GM stays the course of small engines,fuel economy they'll screw the pooch.
