Sak Douglas Bay Area - 7/12

Got on the east end yesterday after the rain stopped...like 0930. Put in at Stevenson - ran west to Douglas Bay area. Jigged for an hour in 20 to 25 fow using plastics. Caught 3...1 keeper. Moved over to flats next to 5 Fingers - started pulling spinners with artificials. Again, fish in 20 to 25 fow. Caught 6 more...3 additional keepers. Silver/white seemed to work best. Found water temps 69.5 to 72 - headed back to dock at 2PM. All in all decent day on the water - overcast until the last hour...that was a blessing!

^^Be interesting to see what the Gov Cup weights come in at next week. Fish are really scattered on the east end...from what I have experienced the last 2 weeks anyway.
