I remember back in the 90s how popular remote controlled cars were especially in Fargo, they had an indoor race track. Now it looks like Mandan is bringing the hobby back

I used to race as a kid in watertown we had 2 outdoor tracks and an indoor one for the winter time. I had an RC-10 and a tackle box for all my parts and tools it was a blast. I got my ass kicked as i didnt have the funds to compete with the grown ups. The camp in double headers were a blast as 12 year olds we got to hang out with the guys.

Yep that's the one kurtr them suckers weren't cheap either, I went to school in valley city in 95 there was a guy in my dorm who raced those cars. He wanted to sell me one of his spares even back then for an used one was close to 200 dollars. That was a lot of money back then for a college student
