How much federal land do you graze for pennies that the administration and any improvements are done with mostly tax dollars? I know no one in ag who isnt benefitting in one way or another from tax dollars. I remember a few years ago when the North Dakota people were kind enough that in an election they voted for those in agriculture to not pay sales tax on things they used in thier operation. Almost overnight ag stores like Home of Economy. Tsc etc started selling a lot more things. At Fleet Farm in Fargo I picked up some Tempo to spray mosquitoes. The lady asked if I lived in the country. I said yes why. She said I didnt hsve to pay sales tax. I said no kidding this is the first I ever heard that. She said you farm right. I said no. She said oh then you have to pay sales tax. So we both live in the ckuntry, but the farmer doesnt pay sales tax. Are his grandkids worth more than mine? In the end about the onlybtsx you pay is on your land. Salaried people take the brunt when it comes to taxes. Oh and for the record I think the money and land for the library is a waste.
