I would give up every deer tag I ever draw for the rest of my lifetime and gladly give them to my kids and proudly sit there and watch them shoot. To stop giving the youth tags out is the most selfish idea I’ve ever heard in my life.
Lost both of these two last winter within 1.5 months. Both lived long good lives Trigger(GSP) was 14 and Ginger(Golden) was 15. Miss them both terribly.
Here’s the new little shit Laylah(red lab)
I have one in the nosler m48 line but have only shot it at paper so far. I would advise against getting one without a threaded barrel like mine. Getting it threaded is on my to do list. It needs a brake badly
My 11 year old son filled his ND youth doe tag on the last day of the youth season after many failed attempts(learning moments hopefully) Put it right in the sweet spot at 200ish yards with dads 6.5cm. Pretty special moment these kids get at such a young age.
I have a Bergara ridge wilderness 6.5cm that shoots well probably .5”-.75” on average. Also have a Bergara hmr pro 6cm that shoots .25”-.5” on average Id say. If I do my part they both shoot extremely well and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Bergara. That’s with hand loads I worked up for both.
Pretty special moment! The excitement in her voice and on her face was something else. Big brother there to run the net for her and she handled the shorty cranking rod like a pro.
