I have a turn over ball in my pickup with the adapter and would never go back to rails in the box. My pickup and camper has been all over ND for the last 6 years and never had any problems.
It's been in this spot as long as I can remember. Last year them trees were out of the water. Them tress are only about 5 years old. I've been on the lake numerous times this year and if I had a glass boat it wouldn't see the lake. The launch is very soft. If anyone goes out there please dont...
That just looks like more spots for it to start leaking in 10 years. I personally would stay with hard sides all the way around and try and find one with a couple slide outs.
I use the mesh bag I think it helps keep them dry after picked or helps dry them out when raining. It always seems like it's raining when I get to go. I didn't make it out this year and I only have 2 quart jars of dried ones left from last year. I'll have to eat them sparingly till next spring.
I was planning on taking a day trip with the kids on Saturday and come back Sunday but the turbo on the pickup took a shit so I get to spend 4 grand fixing that instead.
There's a reason I go by myself and always take the long way into my spots. I have a couple spots that are only 100 yards off the road but I'll park half mile away.
