    I’ve had this rod for quite a while. The rod itself is fine it’s where the top cork piece tightens down on the reel. It looks like the cork just broke away from the threads. Hope that makes sense. I wonder if a custom rod builder could maybe put a new handle on it?

    Idk. For the economy to be going down the crapper I’m seeing more money being spent on boats, side by sides, four wheelers, campers , expensive clothes and vacations then I ever have. All the campers and boats being sold are probably people upgrading. I see no slow down in spending what so ever.
