    Dentist admits killing beloved lion

Yep. He strikes me as one of those people that complains about animal cruelty as he's shopping for a steak at the local hornbachers.

    HUH!!!!!!!!

You're probably on to something there. When I lived in Mandan, I got to drive over the river every day. Kind of a nice way to start and end a day. That and I could see where all the boats were congregated on community holes.

    Hang-On Tree Stand (think light)

I believe, while reading the regs, it was posted that you can't leave anything there. I usually start out with two or three screw in steps to maximize my muddy sticks.

    Hang-On Tree Stand (think light)

Unfortunately, my ground blind is somewhere on the east coast, maybe even a nice house for a Somalian pirate.

There's days where I think i need more fishing equipment and go that way in order to stop at Dakota tackle. I feel bad for people that have to turn left there. Any left turn sucks nowadays. Or people that slam in their brakes because the car, 100 ft in front of them, taps their brakes. Then give...

    Hang-On Tree Stand (think light)

I have a set of muddy sticks already. I use them quite a bit but the trees on the river bottoms are too big for the ropes. I'm thinking I'll be walking quite a bit in and out so I'm just trying to get the lightest stand possible and hopefully one that's quick and easy to attach. After my last...

    Dentist admits killing beloved lion

Ha. I'm salaried. If I do that, the boss man tells me about the next damn expensive toy that he bought. Dentists are paid ridiculously well. I have a friend that just got back from a safari. His future father in law took the whole damn family over and they had "unlimited" tags. The life...

Scent Control - How far do you go?

Body soap before I leave the house. Hunting clothes are kept in one of them water/air proof bags. Prior to storing them in there, I spray down every article of clothing with some sort of scent killer. I've used them all. Let them dry outside before you put them in the bag, otherwise you will...

    Hang-On Tree Stand (think light)

In preparation for the correctional facility hunt, I'm in need of a lighter hang on tree stand that I can haul out after each sit. Lone wolf and muddy seem to be the best rated but I usually use gorilla and big game hang ons. So, those of you who have had to haul everything in and out each...

    We apologize

How dare you let the site go down when I awake at 5 a.m., a full two hours ahead of my alarm. I actually visited that other site for a little bit. I don't like to be without an outdoors site where we discuss things other than the outdoors.

    HUH!!!!!!!!

Seems counter intuitive to me as well. Point a finger at any intersection in Bismarck and you'll find congestion. Thankfully, Menards is right across the street so I spend 30 minutes there before I make my trek back to the south side.

    Permanent fish house versus boat

Boat for sure. I enjoy ice fishing probably more than most, but I hate having to set up the permanent or portable, and then move, or don't move and don't catch fish. That and now I'm too damn busy in the winter.
