    I was talked into spooling up some super slick 8 onto a few of my rods. I don't foresee any changes in my future. Casts a mile, ties nicely, and doesn't have any characteristics of mono, which makes me happy. 10lb on my jigging rods and 15 lb on my rigging rods.

    Completely dependent on where I'm fishing. This spring I was surprised by how little my cranking rods were used. Little lakes I'll troll as I look at my side scan. Then maybe a jig and plastics or spinners and lindy's. Always have a game plan, but rarely stick to it off the bat.

    I have three bushnell trophy cam hd's. Absolute best camera I've run. Tried two coverts and they weren't worth a damn. One of my bushnells is a little older but it handles cold way better. Found out the new ones didn't take a picture once the temp dropped below 20 degrees. Not happy about...

    These guys have awesome action and rattle. They're about the same size as a #5 rippin rap. at about the 1/6 of the cost. I'm thinking probably too small for up there.

    I've stayed away until I had a snowmobile for travel. My biggest questions are where to stay and access. In my 4 trays of ice tackle, I'm sure I already have something they want.

    As far as planned trips, my father in law and I are headed to Winnipeg next year. I will be asking plenty of questions for that trip so be prepared. Next fall were going to Alaska for salmon, halibut, and other random species. Soon, I would like to get my old man into Canada for a big walleye trip.
