    Not quite the same thing here but....my old man and I were out salmon fishing on sak and hooked a salmon. We proceeded to fight it for quite a while as it was a nice fish. After about a 10-15 minute battle it snapped the line and we reeled our line in retied the rod and continued fishing...

    Jigging Raps

    I always try to use the smallest size i can in any situation while still being able to feel the bottom. Blue and white seems to be my go to for jigging raps. I think some guys like to cut the front hook by the nose off because they can get hooked on the ice but I haven't experimented with that...
