    I got curious last summer and cleaned one. I figure lake Oahe has such good clean water they might taste ok. I was almost right, they were a little less than ok. But I will bet $1000 that I can taste fresh walleye over fresh drum 10 out of 10 times.

    LOL my childhood from 3rd to HS grades. On our pontoon, I would holder my rod like crank baiting and jump in and play to stay cool. Damn we caught fish though. Limit was 8 and would consistently limit with 4-8 people.

    When I was a kid there was a fishery in Mobridge that had nets out. A few of my friends had jobs a their little cleaning plant. They could only harvest "shit" fish. But I remember in the paper they had a dead 23 lb walleye in their nets. This was in the late 70's aor very early 80's.
