Updated 5.3 and 6.2 V8 and supposedly some other new gas engines they haven't released specs on either. They also announced a 3.0L inline 6 cyl diesel which from what I have gathered is a new clean-sheet design and will be built in the US. Ford's new 3.0L V6 PowerStroke is based off a Land Rover engine and Ram's 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel is from VM Motori (an Italian subsidiary of Fiat-Chrysler). Ford is claiming 30 MPG and GM is claiming they can beat that. Should be interesting to see how they do. Of course with the diesel engine option being a prieumium over the gas and diesel fuel being more expensive (along with maintenance) the cost per mile may not be any better then the gasser.Ram also introduced there new 1500 at the show. Supposed to available next quarter (GM says 4th quarter for new Silverado/Sierra). They have introduced a mild hybrid system for their V6 and V8.
