We no longer have spend all our time checking traps and patching sod roofs. We have time to focus on other things, like helping others or inventing the next machine that detects cancer sooner, or any new thing that makes life more enjoyable for so many. Especially the ones that are in need...I suppose you'd like to go back to the days where there isn't any money? Like trade and barter days? WE WOULDN'T HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN FOOD AND SHELTER IF IT WASN'T FOR MONEY. (Not yelling, just trying to get a point across...)Oh and, not everyone is as selfish as you think they are. In fact, I'd argue that there are more people willing to help others in this world than not. It's your bubble man...There are a ton of these good people on this site. I don't personally know any of them, but if I was in a bad way I know some here would do what they can to help me. Not that I ask for much when I'm in need, but the fact that I have faith in them helps...I believe firmly in the second coming of Christ, and I don't see how working for money, and getting lots of it, is going to stop me from being spiritually prepared for it. If I have more money, I can do so much more with myself in helping others, and still be able to help others while I get money. As long as I'm surrounded by people, I can be a positive aspect in their lives, no matter what I'm doing. Life is all about serving others. All the money we make, all the time we have, all the talents we have, are given to us so we can help each other along the path of life. All in preparation for the second coming. Christ's coming isn't about doom and gloom, if you're in the right place spiritually. And again, there are a lot more people out there that are genuinely good people. Pop the bubble man...</blockquote>
