FYI,Ive read that this past summer alaska fish n game canceled king salmon fishing do to over fishing,mostly due to commercial fishing taking to many doing they're spawning run.Also most of my "yahoo" pals had small air craft like a second car,some with floats other crazies just big over sized fat tires to land on dry creek beds for fishing,your limiting where you can travel by vehicle unless your entire trip is charter fishing and limited sight seeing,air travel is the best way to see the last frontier. Or do a float trip as stated above.Float trip camp site in august
