Message: <blockquote data-quote="DirtyMike" data-source="post: 25934" data-attributes="member: 229"><p>Yep.  I found out that a year off of running isn't conducive to hiking the badlands.  The next year I started a good training regimen and actually enjoyed the process.  Lots of public ground but asking ranchers never hurts.  I personally like the "camping" aspect of it and tented it...in the box of my pickup, with a very comfy mattress.  I must have bumped my keys in the  middle of the night and almost added some moisture to the mattress when my car alarm went off.  Non scented baby wipes were my shower for two days and my merino wool still smelled good when I got home.  Two coolers came with.  one with food and drink and one for meat just in case it was warm out.  I had two empty coolers on my way back.  Good luck and hope to see you out there this fall.</p></blockquote><p></p>
