Ice was 12 to 16 inches.  Many pressure ridges.  Had to cross about 8 of them to get to our spot.  No snow made it easier to find safe spots to cross.  Never would of tried it without gps so we could follow are track back to shore.  Fishing was really good.  On the way off we talked to some guys and good thing for them because they had there directions totally reversed.  Like a few of you mentioned earlier if we don't receive anymore significant cold spells this winter we are going to have a very early ice off.</p></blockquote><p></p>
