Message: <blockquote data-quote="Up Y'oars" data-source="post: 300208" data-attributes="member: 764"><p>Dogs are able to understand humans even without words when they're with their owner long enough and have had a long learning curve in a constant training environment (I'm in a constant training mode with my dog for 9yrs now).   </p><p></p><p>When I'm out in the field I only need to point my finger/hand to the right or left and my dog will go in those directions without any vocal commands.  He and I are out there as a "unit" and he knows what I'm expecting.  The struggles in the first 18mo of a pup's life is a YUUUGE payoff in the long run.</p></blockquote><p></p>
