Message: <blockquote data-quote="PrairieGhost" data-source="post: 339865" data-attributes="member: 704"><p>I have had that sticking issue twice.  Both time it was a factory chipped reamer that left a ridge in the chamber.  The first was a stainless Remington 700 in 243.   That ridge was so bad it sometimes cut the brass in half.  A week later I took it to Scheels and they gave me a new rifle.  The second rifle was a Ruger Predator 308 Win with an 18 inch barrel.  That one had a rough chamber in the front half with multiple small ridges.  I shot it for a year loaded down.  One day I shot a factory and it lodged tight.  I took it to the local sport shop and a month later got it back with a new barrel.</p><p>  </p><p>Not sure why it would accur with once fired.  Still thinking about that.</p></blockquote><p></p>
