The 8,000 cfs increase will put about 60,000 gallons per second more into the river. The Corps expects the Missouri River near Bismarck to 12 feet, which will put the levels just below the action stage. The increase comes as levels at Garrison Dam rise to 1,851.1 feet, less than three feet from the dam’s maximum capacity of 1,854 feet.
