This whole argument/discussion has nothing to do with a lack of deer numbers, or a lack of habitat, or a lack of opportunity to hunt, or a lack of places to hunt, or a lack of management, or any other BS excuse. It's all about SELFISHNESS and complaining when you can't go hunting exactly where you want for whatever deer you want with whatever weapon you want every year. The reality is, there's no lack of deer to hunt in ND as there are always left over doe tags for ND. Get one of those and go hunt. If you only want to hunt horns, it costs 165 bucks for a MN over the counter rifle/shotgun tag for a buck. Just over 100 more dollars than to hunt a buck in ND when you add the general game and habitat stuff it takes to hunt deer. Lots of public land over there with lots of bucks and lots of opportunity to hunt and there are BIG bucks over there. Get a tag and go hunt. If you feel you live too far from MN, MT has OTC whitetail doe tags or any doe tags (B tags) for 80 bucks. About 30 dollars more than to hunt a doe here in ND when you add the extra stuff. Get one of those and go hunt. Lots of land to hunt with lots of deer. Don't think of it as just a doe tag. Think of it as an armed scouting trip for next year. Hunt for next years buck/elk/antelope while filling the freezer with good venison this year. There is also the constant ability for anyone to hunt horns in ND with archery equipment EVERY YEAR. Choose to hunt or don't choose to hunt, it's all up to you with nothing or nobody to blame but yourself if you decide to sit it out on the couch. Carry On!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
[QUOTE="KDM, post: 227618, member: 314"] This thread flat out makes me laugh!!! Just over 100 more dollars than to hunt a buck in ND when you add the general game and habitat stuff it takes to hunt deer.
