Message: <blockquote data-quote="KDM" data-source="post: 24564" data-attributes="member: 314"><p>PM sent ndwalleyes.  As far as trying to get the paint out of the eye, when I'm making 500 jigs, I don't want to take the time to try to get the paint out of the eye at just the right time.  I'd get to about jig number 15 and that would be the end of that.  Additionally, when I did open the hook eye before the paint dried I found that the floro line I use would sometimes get cut by an edge or piece of paint that dried in a funny spot or the paint acts kind of like a blade.  So I ended up using the eye cleaner anyway.  I like to tie my line directly to the metal of a clean jig eye.  I can get a bit OCD about my fishing stuff.  LOL!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
