The 6.5 Creedmoor is much like the 6.5 Swede and the 260 Remington.&nbsp; The shorter case holds about the same powder but because it's shorter it allows the use of heavy bullets seated out further which doesn't take up powder space in the case.&nbsp; It's becoming a pet cartridge/bore diameter for me. From the choices your looking at I would pick 7mm first and 270 second.&nbsp; Don't care for a 25-06.&nbsp; The Creedmoor doesn't impress people at the muzzle, but sighted in for 200 yards it only hits an inch lower than the 25-06 at 400 yards.&nbsp; In energy and flat shooting the further out your shooting the more it eats the 25-06.</blockquote>
