These facilities search out places in the country that have excess power capacity.   North Dakota is one of those few places.   Historically,  North Dakota has exported 70% of the electricity it produces.  With the demand for "green" power to the east we are left with excess power produced by our coal plants that have decades of life left in them.  That leaves North Dakota a prime spot to build data centers,  manufacturing,  etc.  This will just be one of many projects you see built in the coming years.</p></blockquote><p></p>
