I certainly understand a landowner driving out to check property  especially if they have had a lot of trouble there.chewing out people driving section roads is a no no as they are open to public travel and could be considered hunter harassment . If they are running quarter lines that’s a different animal. as you said it isn’t worth losing your shit if you can’t shoot a deer or pheasant because it’s on posted land ...just move on to where you legally can.what constitutes shit land owners to me are ones who live out in the boonies and hunt the big buck etc the day or days before hunting season opens so no one else gets it.The ones who fence off section roads ( no gate) or make the section road impassable.The ones who bait animals in restricted zones closed to baiting ( some own thousands of acres and how is it even possible for law enforcement to check on that effectively?the ones who get gratis licenses and then sell them ( under the table) to friends/ others etc.the ones who deliberately post on corner posts of both their land and absent neighbors to try to save it for themselves ( post your sign inside your land)  not on property borders.</blockquote>
