Message: <blockquote data-quote="Obi-Wan" data-source="post: 433196" data-attributes="member: 709"><p>Last year I shot a doe on national grasslands that ran into private.  There was a light blood trail before and after the fence.   I followed the trail in about 30-40 yds to the start of a ravine with trees and just inside the edge of the trees was the dead doe in a large pool of blood.   I drug the doe out of the private and back onto the public grasslands where I field dressed the deer.   there was a large blood trail where I drug the deer out.   I took pictures of the blood trail before I went into the private land for proof it was shot  on public land prior to it entering the private land in case the land owner called in a report on me I would have proof where it was shot and that it only had 1 bullet hole in it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
