Six partridge will feed a good amount of folks in this manner.  No shortage of meat in each spoonful. He boiled the skinned birds whole then pulled all the meat like pork.  The broth was used in the crockpot.  I believe he boiled them in chicken stock.    Damn that was good stuff.  He let it simmer for over 24hrs with potatoes, carrots and peas.  Had the consistency of pot pie filling.  Damn!</p></blockquote><p></p>
