When we load after fishing/crabbing/diving I drive onto the trailer.  One guy hooks the boat up and tightens the web belt.  Then the boat is pulled out of the water and the bilge plug is removed.  It is a threaded, brass plug.</p><p></p><p>The next time we go out I grease the bearing buddies and put the plug in while waiting for my crew to show-up in the morning.  Then we head out and catch salmon/pull crab pots/SCUBA dive and spear rockfish ... and repeat as often as we can.</p><p></p><p>At Metigoshe I launch the boats in the spring and load in the fall.  Other than that they stay on the lifts when not in use.</p></blockquote><p></p>
