Message: <blockquote data-quote="GSM" data-source="post: 142668" data-attributes="member: 852"><p>I don't understand how they get away with the astronomical prices they charge once they have to pull the box or drop the fuel tank.  I have done both on this vehicle now.  I replaced the fuel pump by dropping the tank.  I am by no means a mechanic, but me and a buddy had that job done in under 3 hours on the floor of my garage with cordless drills.  The shops I took it to all wanted over 12 hundred for that job.  I pulled the box off in an afternoon on this job.  </p><p>I cant imagine how simple these both would have been if I was in an actual shop with the right tools, my god it pains me to think about it!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
