Message: <blockquote data-quote="Allen" data-source="post: 449054" data-attributes="member: 389"><p>My t-locks were installed in 2003 on a new build and were repaired due to wind damage in 2004 and 2005 before being totaled due to hail in 2006 or 2007.  Wind just got them moving and kept ripping the lock portion off and they'd flap in the wind during a not so remarkable windy day.  Numerous neighbors had even worse luck with them than I did.  Replaced with architectural shakes and never looked back until I sold the place in 2012.  I think they were supposed to be rated for 70 mph winds.</p></blockquote><p></p>
