There is getting to be a lot of this in MT these days, even more than before I should say. It's a topic that really tests some people's principals for sure. Here on the east side of MT there is very little public land and it is easy to look west and think wow all that freedom would be nice. Now that possibilities of land changing hands, normally conservative leaning folks can't seem to yell government ownership is great loud enough. Kinda makes for interesting bed fellows. I guess I like the idea of leaving things as they are. Even though 99% of the time I think government ownership of things is the best way to screw it up. As long as the government's method of management is to leave things alone then I'm ok I 'spose for now. Outfitting gives me the creeps. It seems to change the whole definition of hunting. Seems to end the whole idea of hunting being a part of our heritage. Another thing that gives me the creeps is when those that love public land hunting are signing the same petition as those that want everything in our lives to be public. The latter would sign a petition to end hunting completely, working for food is like the holocaust to them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
